I don't know. The Beast Mode scene was an awesome piece of hyperkinetic animated action, sure, but the design itself... it sacrifices elegance for the sake of bestiality, but to me, the end result is just, well, goofy. It's like Jet Alone (remember those extending rods in it's back?) and Venom from Spiderman were thrown in a blender. Unit-01 is still far better at being a demon.

Oh, and the artist got Unit-02's hand colors wrong.

01 is true demon, and 02 is man's attempt at makin' demons. 'course 01 is better at bein' a demon :)

All of Eva 2.0 was nothing but flashy animation and that had more than enough light gleams.

When they realized they needed something to fill in that one hour that had no fightining, that's when they said "you know? maybe we do need a story."
