Still waiting for someone to do it 'right

I'm making one. It will be see through, I will have red hair, it will light up, etc. No buttcrack though. Unfortunately, I'm not Jersey (<3) so it won't be 100% perfect, but hey, Shikinami isn't really Asuka in all her glorious perfection either.
That said, this suit is really well done construction wise. I'm surprised that people are complaining about this suit, it's pretty spot on compared to some of the other cosplays posted on here. Plus, the girl is attractive.

Lots of cosplayers are willing to bare quite a bit for costume purposes, so it's not a matter of 'being bold'. And compared to many other cosplays *coughyokocough* the test suit is rather modest if buttcrack is omitted, etc.

The inaccuracies probably come from a shortage of the appropriate material, so whoever made OP's suit worked with what they could find, probably. Accurate material does exist, but unfortunately its expensive and rather inaccessible to most. And that's providing that anyone's even able to find it in the first place, as I had to make some specific inquiries to lots of... um, 'unique' sites to find it.I've found some fellow cosplayers to order it with, so it's less of an investment AND it'll get spread around the community. So there'll be some accurate suits popping up soon.
Basically, plugsuits are a bitch to make, even starting at the fabric choice level. Sadamoto's disdain for cosplay sure shows up in his designs, lol.

Well, for the most part I'd understand him being disappointed in their execution IRL, but there have seen some VERY impressive attempts that have disproved his 'it can never be done' attitude. However, a perfect one has yet to be made.

This, and her Rei suit are the only latex rubber plugsuits I've seen. Why is nobody else doing this? There are plenty of red and white fetish catsuits on the market. All you have to do is add details.

I hate that spandex lycra and PVC shit.

That's horrifying. Why do they have to make a descent looking plugsuit and then ruin it with those freakin' creeping masks?

I like it, within its own niche. To me, it's no creepier than a figurine, statue or poser art. Frankly, I'd much rather look at this than alot of the 'regular' cosplayers out there. I think the only really disturbing thing is the hundreds of dollars these 'professional' masks cost.

I believe this cosplayer wears a mask because they are male. Regardless of their gender, they shouldn't be ashamed to cosplay a charcter they love- especially when they can make a damn good costume. So if you need to wear a mask to fit the part, fuckin' go for it.

That's EXACTLY why I say if you're gonna take pics of the model in one of these masks, don't forget to show at least some part of female anatomy during the photoset. Heck, you could go nude and still hide your identity.
