Every day I pass a McRib billboard with the image on the left, and it always makes me think of the image on the right from a Hetano doujin. I finally made a comparison image of the two and it cracked me up how similar they really are.

...to be more serious (because FANFICTION IS SRS BZNS) I've read at least one fanfiction in which the last battle at the end of EOE went differently. Misato died in Shinji's arms, Shinji went foaming-at-the-mouth batshit and killed all of the Mass Production Series and then went around screaming and stomping on fleeing JSSDF troops. Shinji and Ritsuko were the only two survivors of NERV and ended up hooking up, and the Japanese government was too afraid of Shinji to have them assassinated afterward, or something. I DNO LOL
